Privacy Notice

In short: we collect what you send us (like your name, email, phone and the home you're asking about) so a Zeal Realty agent can help you. We don't sell your information, and we never share your phone number with anyone for their marketing. You can ask us to see or delete your information at any time.

This notice explains how Zeal Realty LLC, doing business as Zeal Realty ("Zeal Realty", "we", "us"), handles personal information collected through zealrealty.com and our related pages (the "site"). Zeal Realty is a licensed real estate brokerage in Florida.

What we collect

Information you give us

Contact details: your name, email address and phone number when you send a message, request a tour, ask for a home valuation or contact an agent.
Your request: what you tell us, such as a property address, the home you want to see, when you'd like to see it, your plans to buy, sell or rent, and details about your home (bedrooms, bathrooms, size, condition).
Which agent you're working with, if you reached us through an agent's page or link.

Information collected automatically

Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and the referring page. Our hosting provider records this to run and protect the site.
Searches and pages viewed: the searches you run and the homes you view, used to operate the site and keep it secure.

How we use it

To answer you and connect you with a Zeal Realty agent: tours, questions, valuations and other real estate services you ask for.
To route your request to the right agent, including the agent whose page or link you used.
To run, maintain and improve the site, and to understand how it's used.
To protect the site, including detecting and preventing fraud, abuse and automated scraping of listing information.
To comply with the law, real estate licensing rules and MLS rules, and to respond to lawful requests.

Calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number, a Zeal Realty agent may call or text you about your request. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help.

We do not share or sell your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with the service providers that help us deliver our calls and messages.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only:

Within Zeal Realty: with our licensed agents and staff who handle your request.
With our sister company, Zeal Property, only when you ask about renting a home they manage or having them manage yours.
With service providers who run parts of the site and our communications for us, such as website hosting, email and text messaging. They may use your information only to provide those services.
With others in your transaction, such as another brokerage, a lender or a title company, when you ask us to and as needed to complete it.
When required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of our business.

Cookies and browser storage

Agent link: if you arrive through an agent's page or link, we store a small cookie for up to 60 days so the site keeps showing that agent as your contact. Visiting any page with ?agent=none removes it.
Saved homes and preferences: homes you save with the heart, and choices like light or dark mode, are kept in your browser on your device. They are not sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Security: our hosting provider may set cookies needed to protect the site from attacks.

We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or other tools that use cookies, we will update this notice first.

Listing information

Property listings on the site come from Stellar MLS and are provided for consumers' personal, non-commercial use. Listing details are not personal information about you. Some listing information, such as an address, may be withheld at a seller's request.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as we need it to help you and to meet our legal, licensing and record-keeping obligations. Florida real estate brokers must keep certain transaction records for years. When we no longer need information, we delete or de-identify it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information such as Social Security or bank account numbers through site forms.

Your choices and rights

Ask us what personal information we have about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
Opt out of texts by replying STOP, and out of marketing email with the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. We honor them, and we will not treat you differently for using them.

Children

The site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this notice. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will post a notice on the site.
